As a group hearing device which helps a hard of hearing passenger to hear an announcement clearly, a magnetic loop is boarded on the bus which is running the route in Ube-shi, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

It was studied and developed by the maker of Kyoto as the Government project. The device makes a person with a hearing aid or cochlea implanted hear an announcement in the car clearly without being bothered by a surrounding conversation and sound.

The City Traffic Bureau says that the introduction of such a device to the bus on a regular route is the first in the whole country.
